  1. Becki,

You have provided three excellent sources of information on IDEA for parents and teachers. Your first site was most impressive with the Major Topics and Check This Out chalk board sessions to the left. Major topic will provide information on any topic/area of IDEA. I thoroughly enjoyed the Check This Out portion because the focus is on training. The training material, video clips, presentations and Q&A documents are a vital part to educate IDEA.

Your second site is perfect for educating parents. The site provides supportive information for parents and teachers of children who struggle to learn. The teaching resources are inspirational. Great job making IDEA easy to access and providing a site with training materials for those wanting to dig a little deeper.

  2. Thanks Becki, I really appreciate how you highlighted IDEA,so that I can see it clearer and be able to remember what each letter represent. Due to the fact that I am only here to study and is not really familiar with a lot of terms,I sometimes get confuse.
I know that any information shared by you will be a beginning step for me to understand the American system in reference to Special Education.
Yes as you did mentioned that we need to educate our parents and teachers in order for them to understand and help.
